Recorded ca. 1903, an announced remake.  It is interesting to compare tracks 13 and 14: the earlier recording is very piano-heavy, while the later recording is very banjo-heavy.  Vess also messes up rather frequently during the recording!

Recorded in New York City, ca. April 1910.  Vess Ossman played the banjo on these early Carroll Clark recordings.  Clark was an African-American recording pioneer whose race was concealed in company catalogues.
